Using the Leads Tab

Manage your prospective new clients better by understanding what led them to you at a glance. Prioritize them for quick follow up. View lead details to quickly gauge how your advertising sources are working.

*Please note that in order to respond to your leads, you would need to do so manually by phone or email outside of your MetroList.com Dashboard. We suggest that you copy and paste the contact's email address into a new email or call them directly. Leads Tab Overview - Complimentary

The Leads Tab gives you detailed information about your leads that also appeared in your Activity Dashboard Tab.

Inside of the Leads Tab at the very top of the page there is the option to "Search clients by name."

Underneath that, you will see the Lead List. This contains:

  1. Contact Name
  2. Description
  3. Source
  4. Source URL
  5. Date

Because this is the complimentary solution, the only thing you can do from here is click on the blue text under Description to read the Lead Details.

The Lead Details give you all of the information you will need in order to see where the lead came from but also all of the information you need to get in contact with the new potential client. You will find the following:

  1. Source
  2. Description
  3. Source URL
  4. Opportunity Type
  5. Added Date
  6. First Name
  7. Last Name
  8. Email
  9. Comments
  10. Phone

You will notice that you will see 5 items with Utm:

  1. Utm Source
  2. Utm Medium
  3. Utm Content
  4. Utm Campaign
  5. Utm Team

Utm values are values for google tracking for ads. These are stored if there are any Utm values on a click that generates a lead.

Receive Lead Notifications by Email and Text!

Your MetroList.com account is automatically set up for you to start receiving lead notifications via email.

*Please be aware that some Lead Notification Emails get marked as SPAM. Notification Emails from MetroList.com would be sent to you by notifications@metrolist.com. If you think you should have received a Notification Email and have not, please double check your spam folder and mark the sender as 'Not Spam' to be able to receive Notification Emails straight to your email inbox in the future.

In order to edit your Email Lead Notifications follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Settings Tab
  2. Click on the Notifications menu item
  3. Under Notification Emails make sure that the Email Address 1 field contains your desired primary email address
  4. Under the SMS Email section, input your mobile number in the Notification Texts (SMS) field if you would also like to receive Lead Notifications by Text
  5. Under the Select Your Notifications section, click the checkbox next to the Lead Event you would like to be notified about via email (and/or text)
  6. When you are finished editing the Notifications settings, scroll to the very bottom of the page and click Save Changes
