Editing your Account Profile

Edit your Account Profile by updating your Personal Information, Market Areas, Languages and Specialties

*Don't forget to keep your Prospector+ Profile up to date, as your account profile is built using that information. Keep reading below to learn what information can be updated in your Dashboard versus your Prospector+ Profile!


Settings Tab - Account Profile

The Account Profile menu item under the Settings Tab is where you have access to view your account profile settings and modify specific information that is not already provided from your Prospector+ Profile.

Account Profile

Take note that any field that has a double asterisk (**) next to it, either can not be edited, or must be edited in your Prospector+ Profile.
The following Account Profile fields come directly from your Prospector+ Profile and must be updated (or requested to be updated) there:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Nickname
  • Business License Number
  • Email
  • Website
  • Primary Phone
  • Office Phone
  • About Me (Agent Biography)

The following Account Profile fields are capable of being edited right in your Account Profile Settings Tab:

  • Job Title
  • Tag Line
  • Marketing Slogan
  • Home Phone
  • Mobile
  • Fax

Market Areas, Languages & Specialties

We also strongly encourage you to update the following account profile settings inside of your Dashboard:
Market Areas, Languages and Specialties.

The Market Areas, Languages and Specialties not only enhance your personal profile and website, but this information is also used on the Consumer Search Portal to help connect you to a potential client.

When the consumers use the 'Find an Agent' feature on the portal, they are able to filter their criteria by Market Area, Language and Specialty. Updating this information is just one more way for consumers to connect with a local real estate expert that fits their needs.

Market Areas

Your Market Areas are found in your Dashboard, in Settings, in Account Profile, under your Market Area Section.

Your Primary Market Area is the first area that appears in your Market Area Section.

Your Primary Market Area is what your Complimentary Agent Website uses to populate listings in your Featured Properties section.

To update your Market Areas, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Dashboard
  2. Click on the Settings Tab
  3. Under the Account Profile Section, navigate to the right hand side of the page under Market Areas
  4. Click on the drop down and select either City or Zip Code
  5. In the box that says 'Your Market Area', start typing your desired City or Zip Code
  6. Select your desired City ort Zip Code from the options listed
  7. Click Add
  8. Repeat steps 4 through 7
  9. (A maximum of 10 city's and/or zip codes can be selected)

  10. Once you have finished, make sure to click the red 'Save Changes' button
